Please remember that the Global Surf Project is due when we return from break. Be ready to present in class! You should bring your presentation on a flash drive. Below is a list of items you must include in your project:
-Map(s) of the area/ocean basin
-Weather Patterns (i.e. wet/dry seasons, winds, water temps, etc..)
-Wetsuits or board shorts??? Explain temps
-Swell Directions & Seasons (use model images)
-Best/Most Common swell periods for that location
-Bathymetry (what is the bottom like? Type of break, etc...)
-Best time to travel
-Wave Models
-Embeded Video Clips
-Travel Costs/Airlines (pick a time to go and run the numbers, Cost to fly boards?)
-Pictures (Find good quality images of the area and surf spots/waves)
-Surf Equipment needed (longboard wave, shortboard, etc..)
Tides (tide type, mixed, semidiurnal, diurnal)
